THE BOOK IS HERE!

"What book?" you may be asking....

The book is entitled Embracing Autism, edited by none other than Robert Parish, who has won multiple awards for his documentaries about his experiences parenting his son Jack who is on the autism spectrum.  This book is a collaboration of parents and therapists who write about what it is like to communicate and connect with children who have been given the diagnosis of autism.  Embracing Autism is written from a perspective of acceptance, love, and sometimes humor.  It will undoubtedly give the reader both a hopeful and realistic view of parenting, educating, and reaching out to individuals on the autism spectrum. 

It is with great gratitude that my son and I were invited to become part of this wonderful book with our contribution of the first chapter. 

It is my hope that our story will help others who are traveling down a similar path.
